Retiring following decades of outstanding service to the school.
Ros and I met Mary-Ann in the 2000’s when we joined the Mathematics staff as part-timers. We loved sharing about our families with each other and it wasn’t long before she became our friend and confidante.
Mary-Ann is a well-respected teacher. When she first came to Danebank, she taught all levels of mathematics.
Mary-Ann was also a Year Coordinator and worked in a transitions role, where she met with ex-students and cared for students who were new to Danebank
When Mary-Ann became Assistant Head of Senior School in the well-being role, we were all thrilled - the role was perfect for her. She was everyone’s biggest supporter. She oozed wisdom and always listened as if she had all the time in the world for us, always with no judgement. The girls - and all of us - were very blessed to have her care for them.
Mary-Ann, we are privileged to have known you, not only on a professional basis, but on a personal level as well. Your strong Christian values and reliance on God have always shone through in everything you do, and we were blessed at Danebank to have someone who always encouraged us in our faith.
You have always demonstrated the fruits of the Spirit and anyone who has crossed your path will agree with us -love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - Mary-Ann, that is you.
We wish you a wonderful retirement and all the blessings in the world.
